Quiet life
I just got home from Holy Thursday Mass, and it was really nice. The priest washed our hands before the service instead of washing everyone's feet. Which was much nicer. I hate people touching my feet, especailly after I've just worked 12 hours. Instead of having a homily about love and forgiveness and stuff he gave us the rundown on the movie "Babette's Feast" and how it's really just like Jesus and Easter. And then in celebration of the season for Communion we had unleavened bread. I've never had that before, and it tasted like scones. And In got an extra piece because the priest asked me to have some more. He had too much left over, and chose me out of everyone to have a wee bit more.

:Feels special and holy:

I'm flying down to the city tomorrow, which shall be everso wonderful. I shall be going to the movies tomorrow afternoon, and on Saturday - oh joyous Saturday - I shall be having a most wonderful day.

Saturday morning - a massage and manicure at the David Jones Aqua Spa.
Saturday afternoon - Sushi. Tall skinny Chai Lattes. More sushi.
Saturday evening - Neil Diamond concert

Oh how Saturday will rock.
