I don't get it. The girl stopped rowing, and the press are in a snit over the rowers. The seven other rowers were pissed, and said so (because immediately after the race the press were on them like white on rice.)
Now, it has come out that the girl (Wait a minute - let me find out her name) Sally Robbins has broken down in the past and stopped mid-race. So why aren't the press and everyone on her back? This race is something she's been training for, so she should have been ready. It's not like they grabbed a person off the street and made them row. She should have been ready.
And she wants to stay on the team! How on earth can they trust her in the future?
On a different note, I'm loving the equestrian events. It looks like fun, in a sporty yet not sporty way. Of course, it may be the jackets the riders are wearing that have impressed me so. I like to think that they all sit around eating cucmuber sandwiches talking about cricket at the end of the day.
