Success!! (And soreness)

So with this fitness challenge that's going on (Global Corporate Challenge - pretty much about getting people off their bums at work and moving around) I'm improved my exercise a ridiculous amount. I've gone classing from "stirring my own tea" as my daily exercise to two walks around the mine site (about 15 mins each*) and at least 10km on the exercise bike a night. It's seriously changed my life and way of thinking.

Anyway, this weekend you had to do double your daily average on either Saturday or Sunday. I had to hit 29,000 steps to get this..... and I did it!! 50kms on the exercise bike and two walks down the street to get my groceries and vote and not only did I get the double, I went 3 and a half thousand over it.

Am feeling very chuffed with myself. Ain't gonna lie, my muscles are very achy, and today it going to be a quiet one.

*I've stopped going out to the crib room for lunch so I can get the walks in. My boss asked me about it, and I said to him that I didn't want to take advantage of him by leaving my desk for lunch as well as the half hour or so I go on my walks.
