Life. Love. Arithmatic

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

I find it incredibly sad that our government this year felt the need to warn Australians NOT to go to Gallipoli this year in case of terrorist attack. For me that throws the sacrifices all those men and women and mothers and fathers and sisters and brother made for us in the mud. They fought for our freedom. Don't tell us not to honour them where their blood was spilled because something bad might happen. Something bad did happen. It was called "The War To End All Wars." And funnily enough, something bad is happening today. It's called "The War To End Terrorism."

Just finished watching My Resturant Rules. That would have to be the most tramatic reality television moment I have ever experienced.

For those not in the know, way back in Febuary 5 couples in five different Australian cities had to build a resturant from scratch. After building and staffing and running the place for a month they have started to eliminate the couples. Their resturants get shut down in tv. Now, the losing couples can make a bid on their resturant, but lordy it's so hard to watch these people sweat blood to open these places then have to give the keys back.

And the worst thing about this show is all the couples are nice. Even the horrible ones are nice. You can see how much they love what they're doing, and in this day and age having a career you love can be hard to find.

Poor Sydney. I hope they have success in another place.
