One of the things that is making the news are the spider webs being created because of the floods at Wagga Wagga.

The spiders are clamouring for high, dry ground, and as a result millions of them are creating webs where they normally wouldn't. The experts believe that they are juvenile wolf spiders (which are normally ground dwelling ones.)

Yeah, it's beautiful, yet I find myself being reminded of zombies, which is less beautiful.

There's a brilliant photo of the webs, with a dog walking underneath them. I nearly showed that photo, but it creeped me out way too much.

O.o

The second picture looks like it had been snowing!

I know! Just unbelievable.

JESUS HOW MUCH SPIDERWEBBING CAN THESE THINGS PRODUCE? NO NO NO, I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE THERE ARE THAT MANY SPIDERS OUT THERE. DDDDDDD:

Ahem. That's neat, though.

And that's only the spiders who survived the flood! Imagine how many drowned!!

(It's like a zombie apocalypse! Awesome to think about, but not something you actually want to see in real life.)
